Actor Lester might be father of Jackson girl

August 10, 2009

Mark Lester, British actor and godfather of Michael Jackson’s three children said he is the father of Paris Jackson.

Lester claims he donated a sperm sample at a London clinic and he believes it had been used to inseminate Debbie Rowe, Jackson’s second wife. He said he believes Paris is his daughter and is ready to undergo a paternity test.

Better known for his role in the 1968 film version of Oliver!, the 51-year-old actor claimed there is strong physical similarities between his 15-year-old daughter Harriet and Paris.

“She (Rowe] is the birth mother of the children so I naturally assumed the sperm donation would obviously have gone into Debbie and Debbie would have borne the children,” he said.

Lester revealed the secret because he is “concerns about the welfare and upbringing of the children.

“It’s a contact issue. I dearly want to remain in contact with those kids and I feel now this is the only way I can ensure that”, Lester added.

Jackson and the actor befriended each other 27 years ago when Jackson’s manager told Lester the pop star wanted to meet him.

Meanwhile, the brain of Jackson has been given to his family.

According to the Los Angeles county coroner, toxicology tests on the brain have been completed and burial of the body could go ahead at Hollywood’s Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The 50-year-old singer is believed to have succumbed to a drug overdose, although there is still no official cause of death.

It is rumoured that AEG Live, the concert promoter behind Jackson’s London shows, could be refused a multi-million-pound payout if it is proven that Jackson illegally possessed drugs or consumed illicit drugs.

A police source said that hours before Jackson died on June 25, his doctor administered a potentially lethal combination of sedatives and anaesthetic propofol to the singer.
