Cheryl and Ashley Cole Seek Quickie Divorce

It was rumored last week that Cheryl and Ashley Cole were going to go to marriage counselling so that the Chelsea footballer could tell his side of the story and try to get the Girls Aloud singer not to leave him. However, rumor has it now that he wants their divorce to be over with by the summer.

According to sources close to Ashley, he wants to be able to concentrate on the World Cup this summer. There is not much hope of he and Cheryl working it out this time, an insider said, and they are suppose to see each other sometime this week to discuss it, but even that isn’t set in stone.

The source also said that Ashley’s been telling his friends that he can feel it’s over. However, they haven’t seen each other for weeks - since before Cheryl even decided that she couldn’t do it anymore - so things may change when they meet face-to-face to talk about it, the insider hopes.

This news comes after a source revealed two weeks ago that Cheryl was signaling to her friends that she wants the divorce to quick as well. The singer had decided that she couldn’t take it - the cheating - anymore after allegations surfaced in a tabloid that Ashley had been sending nude photos and explicit texts to a model. After that claim was made and the pics were leaked, 3 other women went to tabloids with their stories about how Ashley had slept with them.

This whole fiasco has been going on for basically a month now, and it’s certain that both of them would rather it be over already. Here’s to the divorce being resolved quickly so they can both get on with their lives.
