Derren Brown’s Lottery Trick
September 11, 2009
Derren Brown has recently claimed to have successfully guessed the winning combination for the National Lottery numbers.
Channel 4 broadcasted the magician’s attempt to call last night’s numbers through out its five channels.
Brown had promised to explain the achievement during a show later today, Friday.
The trick marked the beginning of a new TV series featuring magic tricks from Brown, whose past exploits have seen him carry out live Russian Roulette and convince an audience to participate in the robbery of an armoured vehicle.
Brown has set up the Lottery show from a studio kept secret, informing viewers that only he plus two cameramen were in the location.
To prove the TV event was a live broadcasting, Darren switched on a television set in the studio featuring the National Lottery draw programme one BBC1.
Brown pointed out to have been obsessed with this latest project for over a year.
A National Lottery official later congratulated Darren Brown, giving further explanation that the illusion that he had created on Channel 4 couldn’t have affected the outcome of the draw or nor had he ever suggested to have been able to do this feat.
