DiscountVouchers.co.uk Launches £50,000 Sport Relief Aid Facebook Campaign

DiscountVouchers.co.uk, a leading money-saving website, has launched a campaign on Facebook to help raise funds for Sport Relief, a biennial charity event from British charity organization Comic Relief. For every Facebook user that becomes a fan of the campaign, the company will donate 10p. The goal is to reach £50,000 by midnight on Sunday, March 21.

DiscountVouchers.co.uk managing director Simon Terry says that “Sport Relief is a fantastic cause and we are willing to donate up to £50,000 to aid the charity. However, it is up to the public how much we spend - the more people who become fans, the (more) money we will donate!”

Anybody can become a fan by simply visiting DiscountVouchers.co.uk’s Facebook page. By doing so, they will not only help raise money for Sport Relief, but it will also ensure that they get the latest news on money-saving offers from the website. The sites updates offers from a growing range of retailers, both high street and specialist brands, in real time. Some of the companies include: Sky, First Choice, Tesco, Argos, Marks & Spencer, lastminute.com and tons more.

Terry adds that “becoming a Facebook fan now has a double incentive, with anyone registered being amongst the first to receive news of the latest money-saving offers, plus up until midnight on Sunday, registering ensures that we will donate even more money to Sport Relief.”
