A Large customer pool:
Summer is the busiest time, although Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break are also good rental times.
We do some initial customer screening by matching potential renters with the proper motor home and available dates.
An Easy Routine:
You continue to house your motor home at your location.
Renters come to you – you go over the motor home operations with them at check out time.
You receive a deposit from the renter when the reservation is made, then receive the final payment when the motor home is picked up. This also includes a separate $1,000 security deposit.

How Rental Fees and Commissions Work
For the first year (12 months) of Association Membership owners pay 20% of all rental fees generated by their motor home, regardless of whether the rentals are generated by the association or by any other advertising.
Note: A new member may elect to pay $525 when they join and pay 15% of all rentals while a member of the association.

"We have been associated with PMRA for about three years. The Association has been extremely helpful in terms of exposure on the Internet. We do not advertise in the paper and we do not have an ad in the phone book. Their fee structure is very fair for the service they provide. The site gets thousands of hits each week giving your coach tons of exposure.
I can only speaak for our experinece when I say, it's been profitable. We are in a market that has a huge client base. Our coach goes out on average at least once a month starting in April until late fall. We get more requests than we can fill during the summer.
Please keep in mind, Wisconsin may be different. Having grown up in Chicago, I know how beautiful Wisconsin can be so I can only imagine you would have no problem renting your unit.
We have a large diesel unit and although fuel prices have gone through the roof, we are starting to get inquiries for this year.
If you are looking to retire off your profits I would hope that you would have a strong pension in place also. If you want to offset your payments or upkeep expenses, I would highly recommend this service."

Company Profile
Ron and Norma Carlon bought a new motorhome in 1994. During it's idle time, in order to help with the payments they started renting it out.
They were so overwhelmed with people wanting to rent, they decided to help other motorhome owners by teaching them to rent out their rigs also.
In 2001 Bill and Judy Claypool joined on as partners. Bill brought with him his computer skills (which helped bring our webpage where it is today) and Judy her accounting background (she tries to keep Ron and Bill in line with her accounting expertise.)
This has developed into the "Association" or "RV Rental Referral Service" we enjoy today, know as "Private Motorhome RV Rentals". This is the reason our rates are so much lower than the normal commercial rental rates. Since we don't have to make a profit on our rentals, just enough to help with the payments when we're not using it. Also since each owner rents out his or her own rig, we have no overhead and we're able to keep all of our motorhomes in brand new condition.
