HISTORY
Legend has it that the building of kiniras Hotel took place in the 15th century and has been operating as a guest house for the weary travelers and their animals since then. The latest evidence found from the Government authorities, show that the Kiniras Hotel has been operating in Paphos since the beginning of the 19th Century. The Kiniras Hotel and restaurant is registered by the Government as “Listed Traditional House”. In the year 1999 it was licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation and classified as “Traditional House Class A”.
LOCATION
Kiniras Hotel is situated in the heart of the characteristic old town of Paphos, just a few steps from the colourful market and only three km away from the romantic and bustling fishing harbour of Kato Paphos. The hotel was completely renovated in 1995 and the owners refurbish it every year, with much love and enthusiasm, making sure that its original character and tradition still remains.
TRADITION GOES THROUGH THE YEARS
It is a family-run hotel & restaurant and its present owners who continue the tradition from generation to generation make sure that excellent service and quality continues through the years. The Gregoriou Family, now with three generations active in the business, are more than happy to provide you with a unique and memorable experience of being part of the family.
ROOMS
Each and every one of its 18 rooms is very clean and comfortable with all amenities required: new linen, brand new bath/shower, colour satellite/cable TV, and radio, telephone, mini bar, safety box, air condition/ heating. Linen is changed on a daily basis.
RESTAURANT & CAFETERIA
Its restaurant serves both à la carte and table d’hôte lunch and dinner as well as a rich buffet breakfast, and is very well known for its traditional home made food. Its cafeteria is open all through the day and serves fine snacks and salads. Its beautiful back green garden is ideal for relaxing and enjoying a drink.
SPECIAL EVENTS
The hotel specializes in the organisation of small wedding receptions and parties of up to 50 persons can be organized. It is also an excellent choice for a business lunch or dinner.
BUSINESS CENTER
There is a business center and clients can go online with the internet services provided.
GALLERY – Meeting place for artists
It also operates as a small gallery, exhibiting paintings in the lounge and restaurant, created by the owner, who inspires from the Cypriot life and nature - A meeting place for artists.

“I don't expect you to remember, but we, (my wife and I) visited your restaurant during Easter week. We had a very pleasant lunch after a long walk around Paphos. We sat in your rear garden, and spoke to the lady of the house about the lovely fresh Oregano in the salad. Anyway, just for a comfortable and relaxing hour or so, many thanks.

The price was excellent and the food was very good, particularly the coffee. As far as location, the hotel was central and easily accessible. I would stay there again with pleasure if I have the opportunity to return to Cyprus.
