Our 4WD Eco tour goes the full circle of this fascinating Island, stopping at all the best sites. We visit freshwater lakes that are only accessible by 4wd; this is where we can drive passed kangaroos just grazing off the track. There are many birds you are likely to see including the Brahmany Kite, White Belly Sea Eagle and Ospreys. We also drive along the beaches where Pied Oyster Catchers feed and Sandpipers roam. Main Beach offers sightings of the majestic Humpback Whales. The season for their migration is from June to November each year. We normally see around 3000 each year.
We provide morning tea and also a BBQ on the beach for lunch. We have steak, sausage, salad, pineapple and homemade bread. A fruit drink is also provided. We carry plenty of water ect. Koala spotting is popular and fun; we give you top tips to make it easier.
