Adult Dyslexia Assessment Services is a dyslexia screening, advice and assessment centre based in Plymouth, Devon. It offers a friendly, confidential and affordable service to adults and young people aged 16 years and over.
Some of my clients have already been assessed as dyslexic and now require an update, perhaps before starting university or college; others are exploring the possibility of dyslexia for the first time.
All the assessments are followed by a detailed and comprehensive individual report. The reports meet the requirements for university students applying for Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA).
I appreciate that people may feel very anxious when they first make contact. The idea of an assessment can seem daunting.
Most people, however, find the experience interesting and enjoyable. More importantly, the knowledge they gain from the assessment helps them to make sense of past difficulties and move forward with renewed confidence and understanding
