Susan Boyle Greets Fans On Her Doorstep

December 2, 2009

Budding super star Susan Boyle got into the Christmas spirit as the success of her debut album is still vibrating over its record breaking sales.

The 48-year-old performer out on a Santa hat and thrilled several fans by signing copies of her record-breaking “I Dreamed A Dream”.

Greeting supporters outside her home is becoming a daily routine for the star.

She was seen a few days ago wrapped in a Scottish flag to celebrate St Andrew’s Day as she was greeting people outside her house. Boyle also entertained small talk with reporters and fans on the doorstep of her Blackburn, West Lothian home.

“I Dreamed A Dream” broke the all time record for a debut album by selling in excess of 410,000 copies last week, immediately soaring straight to number one the moment it hit the shelves.

Music retailers claimed that the record setting CD is already demonstrating to be a must-have Christmas gifts this year and would surely be vying for the number one position as a Christmas album which will quite probably come on top there again. Also, Boyle’s stunning rendition of the Rolling Stones 60s classic Wild Horses initiated the singles charts in ninth place.

Meanwhile, Susan Boyle had to beef up security around her council home in Scotland.

Despite now being a worldwide recognised super star and a multimillionaire, Boyle is extremely attached to her modest house in Blackburn, near Glasgow.

She said she had no intention of getting rid of it.

But the huge popularity of the performer has meant that she no longer can live so freely.

A Clockwork Security van came up outside the house and an employee talked to Boyle.
