Carrentals.co.uk begins new campaign to aid travellers

April 20, 2010

Carrentals.co.uk, one of the UK’s premier car hire price comparators, has launched their new campaign, Raising the Standard. The Raising the Standard campaign seeks to help consumers highlight the best offers and services within the industry for all their travel needs.

The campaign will petition for fairer and more honest practices within the travel industry. New resources on carrentals.co.uk will be designed to help consumers utilise the best options available to them within the industry. Topics covered on the website during the campaign will include car hire, accommodation, health insurance, trip insurance, and flights.

The website will feature three unique new aspects to aid consumers in bettering their knowledge of all available options. Raising the Standard will feature a blog, a forum, and a host of advice papers availabe for download. All of these latest features can be found at http://forum.carrentals.co.uk.

The forum will provide a venue for travellers to voice their concerns, questions, and comments on travel related issues. Carrentals.co.uk will partner with experts in the industry to answer questions and provide detailed advice to new and experienced travellers.

The managing director for carrentals.co.uk, Gareth Robinson, said “There are a lot of fantastic travel offers available these days, but in order to make the most of these, consumers need to be travel-savvy and not get caught out by hidden charges or restrictions in the small print – factors that we hope this campaign will, over time, help eliminate. Raising the Standard is aimed at offering travellers an opportunity to ask questions or raise any concerns they may have to provide them with sound advice and information on how to find the deals that are right for them.”

Companies partnering with carrentals.co.uk for the campaign include Fly.co.uk, Questor Insurance, Zintech, and Self Catering breaks. Carrentals.co.uk offers comparative price services for such major car hire firms as Alamo, Budget, Sixt, Holiday autos, and easyCar.
