Show Bargains at the Tropicana Atlantic City

This summer, The Tropicana Casino Hotel in Atlantic City is luring customers with two great shows staged until early September.

The Tropicana also offers restaurant packages with a pre- or post-show dinner.


Originally a popular TV show and set in the early 1980s, Fame reveals the turmoils of a group of teenagers as they live, love and laugh their way through the New York High School of the Performing Arts.

The plot follows them through four years of practice, academics and the challenges of growing up.

Fame runs until September 9 in The Showroom at Brighton and the Boardwalk. Times vary. Tickets are $25 for general admission.

Yesterday — A Tribute to the Beatles

Were you a frantic teenager in the early 60s? Want to experience the magic of the most successful and important rock band in history? The tribute band Yesterday performs “The Beatles are Coming” at the Liverpool Club Theatre.

The Tropicana has even modified theatre in order to recreate the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, the venue which launched the famous English band.
